A monochromatic theme comprises white, gray, and black. Natural wood is incorporated into the design to soften the feel and create a balance. The ventilation blocks were installed for the nostalgic vibe. In its original state, there were one too many rooms. In order to create a sense of space and to open up the once enclosed living and dining areas, we had a couple of walls knocked down. Nothing beats an open kitchen with an island. It’s gonna be awesome – imagine a cool white floor, with black and wood cabinets fitted with a black sink and tap creating contrast and completing the look with artisanal cement tiles for the backsplash.

Bedroom doors are pretty neat. The black door, gold knob, stopper, old-school glass with orange-peel effect, the “French curtain”. Such details. Wait till you see it.

Glass doors separating the living area and yard provide a seamless transition. The yard has amazingly tall and large windows bringing in natural light. We love the copper pipes, black conduits, and steel casing running across the walls. Unintentional exposure.

The bathroom wall is clad in white subway tiles and finished off with cement on the top and the floor is laid with black mosaic tiles, all for the nice contrast. The black rain shower set was sourced and imported just for this project.

Under 10 minutes walk to Lavender train station and City Square Mall.
